Google PR 2

Interesting - the site already has a Google pagerank of 2. For those who don't know, thats not bad for an "infant" (ie young) site like this one. That suggest that as we increase members, content, features, recipes, articles, etc. we should be able to really get good exposure.

Remember - this is YOUR website. I am developing this to help spread and share Macrobiotics. I have found that most Macro people are incredibly helpful, kind and willing to share... maybe its the rice ;)

So - please let me know what you want to see (use the "contact us" link above). Also, I appreicate your patience as we continue to grow and develop. We have some FANTASTIC resources and features coming (including some great recipes, videos and articles!) which should help us all.

Ron, Thank you very much for this innovative website. In case you hadn't already seen the following list or something similar, here are some ideas for tweaking this site in order to optimize its page ranking:

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) tips:

Select and use specific keywords for each web page of your site. Use your major keywords in links back your site.

The first 100 words on the page should use keywords intensively and those words should be relevant to your goal in setting up this site.

Make sure your site is easy to move through and is easy to understand.

Keep the website content interesting and fresh.

Build a community by offering a blog and/or other interactive content.

Post to web forums so that search engine recognition of your site is made easier.

Prominently display your own (or your organization's) contact information.

For keywords, all I can think of at the moment is "macrobiotic" "macrobiotics", "social network" and/or "blog." I hope there is some nugget of info here that is not totally redundant for you!
